D. Johnson SRQ Antiques was founded in Connecticut in the 1990s and is now proudly based in Sarasota, Florida. Originally from Maine, an appreciation was developed for fine antiques and traditional craftsmanship at an early age. Over the years, that passion has grown into a lifelong pursuit of discovering, preserving, and sharing exceptional pieces of history.

Presently having 30 years dedicated to studying, restoring, and conserving antiques, D. Johnson SRQ Antiques specializes in 18th and 19th Century period antiques, fine arts, garden antiques, and other distinctive decorative pieces. Each item is carefully considered for its history, craftsmanship, character, and authenticity. Emphasis is shown on pieces that bring beauty and a sense of history to today’s homes and gardens.
