An 18th-century Italian walnut dressing or writing table featuring an inset mirror, single frieze drawer, and raised gallery with a shaped crest and narrow shelf. The table is supported on turned legs joined by a boldly shaped crossed stretcher, with beaded molding providing additional decorative detail.

 

The wood retains a warm, richly aged patina with visible wear, staining, scratches, and patination consistent with age and use, giving the piece considerable character.

A Classical-style bench featuring a long rectangular walnut plank top supported by a pair of substantial fluted New Orleans Column pedestal bases. The dark, richly toned top provides a striking contrast to the pale green painted bases.

The column supports feature classical architectural detailing with molded bases and a softly aged painted surface. The wood top shows visible wear, scratches, and surface variation consistent with age and use. 20th Century using earlier components.

A Wonderful carved French Louis XV style child’s chair, with a shaped upholstered back, open arms, and cabriole legs. The frame features restrained floral carving and molded details, with brass nailhead trim outlining the upholstered back, arm pads, and seat.

Upholstered in black leather or leather-like material, the fauteuil has an elegant, compact form with a warm aged finish to the wood. Visible wear and surface variation are consistent with age and use.
